Color is important

I am growing fat......,because my appetite grow in Autumn. My face are getting round day by day.This is  a serious problem for me. So, I decide to start diet.

At first, I try to reduce my appetite. I  research the way how to reduce my appatite . I found that blue has effects of reducing appetite. So, I tried to use blue food dye for cooking.

Blue rice and Tonjiru


Tonjiru contain a lot of vegitables! it is so healthy.  I could make good Tonjiru that time.Tonjiru was so delicious.but blue rice made my appatite reduce. Taste is normal rice but........looks is gross.
★How to make blue rice★

 It is so easy. You just buy blue food dye and add it into rice cooker. I bought blue food dye at  confectionary ingredient  corner in Ito yokado It is about 150yen.

I found that color is very important factor. After that, I made some blue food. I forgot to take pictures. These foods looks was horrible.




It is not my picture, but I made dishes like this. I made blue pasta. I wanted to show you my blue pasta!!


 Certainly  my appetite reduced owing to blue food dyes, but my feeling was depressed day by day. I gave up doing diet by this way. I try to stop eating snacks and do more exercise. Rome was not built in a day.


I made ramen after I gave up blue food diet! Color is important!
Color is really really really important!!!!!!!!!!!

    I agree with your opinion that color has great effects on food.

    By the way, I found a small mistake.
    You mean, not appatite but "appetite" isn't it?

    Any way, let's talk about the food color.
    When I saw your blue rice picture, my appetite diminished...
    I love rice, but I don't feel like eating blue-colored rice.

    Your idea of coloring food blue in order to decrease your appetite is really interesting, but I think you are right to stop it and find different way.

    All food looks great when it has its natural color.
    When I was in America, I saw some cakes which was colored red, blue, pink, and so on, but it looked unhealthy rather than beautiful or tasty.

    I have never cook blue food like you but I sometimes use blue plate!
    I don't know it is good way to reduce my appetite...

  3. wow.... When I saw the blue rice pic, I couldn't believe my eyes lol It has a terrible looking. Yeah, color is really important...
    What do you think if the rice was red? would you like to eat it?

  4. This made me laugh so hard! I don't think I would like to eat blue food either... I think Tomomi's idea of using a blue plate my be better. Do you know what colors increase your appetite? Now go look at the colors in fast food restaurants. It's really interesting.
